Presentation

The UTA or Unión Tranviarios Automotor (Tramway and Motorized Drivers Union), is the labor union that represents people who work as bus drivers and subway drivers (Subway just in the City of Buenos Aires). The name of this trade union is a traditional and old one and includes the word tranviarios (tramway drivers) since the times when there were tramways in Argentina.

Description of the flag

The flag of the Salta Province branch of the UTA labor union is a symbol that combines the sky blue and white colors of the Argentine National Flag and a design that recalls the provincial flag of Salta.

At the center, the emblem of the Salta branch of the UTA appears. It has yellow disc with a sky blue map of the Province of Salta. The drawings of a modern bus, an old one and a train appear. At center of the emblem the acronym of the labor union UTA in vertical red letters. This emblem has a yellow raising sun similar to the Argentine national coat of Arms and several provincial coat of arms. The emblem appears between two laurel branches.
